MESEURO AISBL - Centre d'étude pour l'Europe de la Méditerranée | Centre for Mediterranean Europe Studies
MESEURO è il nome di un vento mediano che soffia tra lo scirocco e il levante. Noi vogliamo essere una forza di mezzo, che non si impone ma che congiunge.

The Green Paper “On forest protection and information in the EU: preparing forests for climate change” underlines that forests provide jobs, income and raw materials, protect soil, settlements and infrastructure, regulate freshwater supplies, conserve biodiversity and are regulators of local and regional weather.
The main goal of the Mediterranean Forest DNA Bank, already established by the Tuscia University, is to enhance knowledge on species diversity and to provide tools for facing the climate change and developing new eco-technologies and eco-products.
The presentation aims to increase public awareness on the importance of the forest research cooperation in the whole Mediterranean basin, one of the most important biodiversity hotspots, to enhance the resilience of the Mediterranean ecosystems.
