Education and Training

educationThe theme of education and training is fundamental. Open Europe is vital for future growth. Aim to increase investment in research and development is not enough. What matters is converting investment in research and development into new products and services, which depends largely on the creation of conditions to support innovation, including the modernization of higher education and the strengthening of ties to the internal knowledge triangle (business, universities, research centres), as well as competitive markets with few barriers.

The strengthening of EU programs such as Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus could encourage an important interchange of human resources and scientific knowledge with positive implications for both parties. Our contribution to the Mediterranean countries in education, if it is proposed within an ongoing relationship of cultural exchange, will certainly be a decisive factor for future welfare generations`. Our contribution can be decisive also with regard to social cohesion, active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue, equality between women and men and personal development. It is mandatory to set the goal of promoting exchanges, cooperation and mobility between education and training within the Euro-Mediterranean community, in order to build a world quality reference, especially in the testimony of a method. Not the method of imposition but one of dialogue and exchange.
